| Volume 1: When three ruthless fire demons come to terrorize the monk Hakuin's village he's forced to seek help from Fuyu, the snow demon who tormented him a year ago. Fuyu is thrilled to see his beautiful monk again. He'll defeat the demons only if Hakuin becomes his willing slave. Fuyu realizes too late that the fire demons are out of his league. Even worse, the lead demon thinks the fey Fuyu would make a nice slave in his own right. When Fuyu is put in the same position he put Hakuin a year ago he starts to realize the error of his ways. Maybe, in time, he can even be redeemed to his beloved monk. Also in this book, a pacifist is forced to bring an assassin to a rival lord. It doesn't help that the assassin is part of the group who wiped out the pacifist's race. (So why are they sleeping together?) Volume 2: The Winter Demon, Fuyu, and the Monk, Hakuin, seek the healer for Kyoko, only to learn he works exclusively for the royalty of his village. He'll only heal Kyoko if Fuyu puts on a magic show for the prince, and Fuyu will only put on a magic show if his Hakuin accepts him in his bed. . Volume 3: The winter demon Fuyu meets the incubus Figaru at long last! Fuyu and the monk Hakuin must see the holyman Shidan to fix Fuyu's weapon. Fuyu is terrified of Shidan's demon apprentice Figaru. The incubus needs a mate to renew his powers, and he thinks Fuyu is gorgeous. Hakuin and Shidan have to see a priestess to get the weapon fixed. She doesn't like demons, so Fuyu and Figaru have to stay behind. After one 'incident' already Shidan locks Figaru in a sacred ring to keep him away from Fuyu. But days pass, and Hakuin and Shidan not returned. Fuyu is powerless without his weapon. He needs Figaru's mighty powers to rescue Hakuin. Figaru isn't so mighty lately.
